A region in the heart of Navarra; this is where José Marín started dealing with olive oil in 1950;  he would deliver them with his truck to the homes in his city and in the surrounding towns. Today, as a result of this experience, Urzante produces its oil with an exclusive method. 70 years later Urzante has become part of our gastronomic tradition and continues to be the preferred brand in the region, albeit also having successfully spread to more than 70 countries around the world. OUR LAND

As owners of olive plantations, we cover the entire production process from the fields to your table. The products of our land are a fundamental pillar in our company. Much of our production comes directly from our olive trees, with which we produce our best oils. All of them are selected and of exceptional premium quality.

Nature is the origin of our products and of our day to day so we respect it to its fullest by working in its favour. We recycle 100% of waste. Our energy system supplies in a cogeneration network that saves a large amount of CO2 per year. Our factory is completely covered in solar panels to produce clean and renewable energy.

Urzante as a founding brand produces several own elaborations of oil, with which we create different brands, depending on the product and its market. Hence we are present in Spain as well as in the rest of the world and in all consumption scenarios.

Since 1950, Ondoliva has earned a well-deserved reputation, offering an excellent olive oil perfectly described by local farmers with the use of the word “Ondo” which stands for “good”. In the past, olives were picked by hand one by one by men and women standing shoulder to shoulder throughout the district in the traditional olive harvest. After 70 years, we remain faithful to all our values, the spirit of tradition, respect for the land and care for nature.

Every single day, at Trujal Almazara Tudela we set ourselves a very clear goal: to always work tirelessly towards obtaining the finest quality of our oils, to remain faithful to the principles that have differentiated us for decades; our land and our tradition. At our mill, the entire production is done with olives collected with care in our farms, we pay attention to each detail to ensure the production of an excellent quality oil.

INTERNATIONAL OLIVE OIL COUNCIL

The Urzante laboratory has been recognised by the International Olive Council (IOC) for the physico-chemical analysis of olive oils and pomace oils – Type B: Advanced tests (01/12/2023 – 30/11/2024).

The International Olive Oil Council is the only international intergovernmental organisation dedicated to olive oil and table olives. It is based in Madrid, Spain, in 1959, where it was established under the auspices of the United Nations. It was formerly known as the IOOC (International Olive Oil Council) until 2006, when it changed its name.

This standard published in 1998 provides guidance to food manufacturers on issues as varied as HACCP, traceability, prevention of fraud in the industry, management commitment and Quality Management Systems. The BRCGS food safety standard is recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), which means that gaining certification helps organisations to retain, unlock or access key markets.

EUROPEAN ORGANIC PRODUCTION CERTIFICATE

This certification allows the marketing of its organic products in the European Union. Organic production is a general system of agricultural management and food production that combines best environmental practices, a high level of biodiversity, the preservation of natural resources, the application of high animal welfare standards and production in accordance with the preferences of certain consumers for products obtained from natural substances and processes.

INTERNATIONAL FEATURED STANDAR

IFS has eight standards focused on food and non-food areas covering the different processes and services along the supply chain. IFS does not determine how these processes have to be but provides an assessment of them through a risk-based approach.

The different standards are used by manufacturers and distributors all over the world in order to meet the demand for quality, transparency and efficiency resulting from globalisation. In order for the standards to meet the needs of all parties involved in their development, industry and distribution as well as certification bodies are involved. REYNO GOURMET

This is a brand created in 2007 by the Government of Navarre that covers agri-food products with quality certification from the region, projecting a common image that favours the introduction and identification of these products on the market, and promoting their reputation and prestige among consumers.

Extra virgin olive oil, obtained from olives of the following varieties: Arróniz, Empeltre and Arbequina. The native Arróniz variety is considered to be the main variety, accounting for more than 10 % of the oil blend, which may come from both the oil blend and the olives themselves.

HC is an independent inspection and certification body, dedicated to the conformity assessment and halal certification of products, processes and services in the food, chemical, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and logistics industries.
HC is a reference body for authorities, Islamic institutions, universities, food associations, industries, consumer protection agencies and international Halal standard working groups/working groups.

OU KHOSER

PROTECTED DESIGNATION OF ORIGIN OIL OF NAVARRA

The Protected Designation of Origin ‘Aceite de Navarra’, abbreviated as D.O.P. Aceite de Navarra and commercially as Aceite de Oliva Virgen Extra de Navarra, is a Protected Designation of Origin that protects and identifies the production of olive oil in the Autonomous Community of Navarra.

URZANTE is located in Tudela, Navarra (Spain), in the area from which it takes its name, Urzante. An extremely fertile land recognized as one of the best vegetable growing areas in Spain. It is located between the valley of the Ebro River and the Moncayo National Natural Park. Thanks to its privileged location, our olive groves are irrigated every year by the thaw of the Moncayo mountain, one of the purest waters in the world.

If you are curious about our processes, certificates, products… or you just want to learn about olive oil -our liquid gold, come and meet us. Our plant is strategically located in the north of Spain, very close to the French border.

Well connected to the 3 main Spanish ports: Barcelona, Valencia and Bilbao. Efficient and reasonably priced  transport to any destination in Europe and abroad. The new factory, a total area of 65,000 m2 inaugurated in 2010 // 500,000 ltrs, day bottling capacity // All in one site (mill, refinery and packaging) // 6 fully automated production lines // 6 own PET production lines.
